For this piece, I was directly inspired by Picasso’s stunning painting of five women, Les Demoiselles d'Avignon.
The first time I saw this piece in New York, I stood in front of it for at least 30 minutes.
There’s really something to it, working to represent human form through geometry!
I attempted to capture this unique feeling: of multiple puzzle pieces of shape and color coming together to create a complete scene.
I hope I did it justice.
