I have long adored vintage advertisements. Ads feel like the truest window we have into a different time. They ask: "What is the BEST way to communicate to the public, right now?"
So, in one of my many late-night vintage ad deep dives, I found a Japanese commercial that stars Janet as a happy businesswoman calling someone from her brand new cell phone.
She's so magnetic (and speaks pretty good Japanese!), that I felt called to capture some of that infectious energy in a Hero piece.
It's an abundant and optimistic energy that I hope brings plenty of joy into your life. :)
